ALKANES PETROLEUM & GAS LIMITED is firmly committed to a policy enabling all work activities to be carried out safely, and with all possible measures taken to remove or at least reduce risks to the health, safety, environment and welfare of workers, contractors, authorized visitors, and anyone else who may be affected by our operations. We are committed to ensuring we comply with national and international occupational health and safety act, standards, regulations and applicable codes of practice as far as is reasonably practicable. By this policy, the management of ALKANES PETROLEUM & GAS LIMITED will at all times aim at:
- Removing or reducing to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) the risks to the health, safety and welfare of all workers, contractors and visitors, and anyone else who may be affected by our business operations;
- Taking safety fully into account in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Ensuring all work activities are done safely.
- Ensuring that all operations and activities within our operational area, including those situations where workers are required to work off-site, comply with all safety and environmental regulations/standards through best practice.
