Alkanes Petroleum & Gas Ltd is an indigenous Petroleum Marketing Company based in Lagos, Nigeria, and operates in the Downstream segment of the Oil & Gas Industry. We intermediate between Petroleum Refineries/International Oil Trading Companies, and Petroleum Product Users in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Alkanes Petroleum & Gas Ltd, though incorporated in June 2004, commenced full business operations in 2011. From Lagos, South-West Nigeria, we have since strategically expanded to Calabar, South-South Nigeria where we have an Ultra-Modern Petroleum Storage Facility licensed by Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA). We also have our footprints spread across the country through our Retail Filling Stations (RFSs).
Alkanes Petroleum & Gas Ltd has continued to grow its market share, leveraging on its vast industry knowledge and experience in marketing of Petroleum Products, the commonest tradeable Petroleum Products within the Nigeria market space being Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK). Lately, we have had to include Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in our retail offerings.
